These Awards are bright, cheerful badges and certificates to keep children motivated while developing their swimming abilities and stamina.
This range of 19 awards increase gradually in distance to help swimmers develop their confidence, ability and stroke techniques, in line with their progress on the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme.
Children over five years old can work their way from 5 metres with a buoyancy aid to the 5,000m award.
On a note of caution, please be aware that securing the Rainbow Distance Award is not a guarantee of safety in deep water, Swim England has designed specific awards for safety and survival.
